The Texas Education Agency is preparing a model form that school districts can use in developing an individualized education program for a student with a disability. This optional form will include IEP content that is required for all students with disabilities, as well as several supplemental sections that must be completed if applicable to the specific student. The form will be finalized by Dec. 1, 2011. Input on a draft form was due on Nov. 7. The IEP model is required under Senate Bill 1788.
